Using this scanner is straightforward with its two button
function. Scan a
barcode with the
large button and it
will be stored
automatically. If
you make a mistake,
the smaller button
allows you to
re-scan the barcode
in order to remove
the item from the
memory. It features
a 512 kB flashROM
memory, enough to
accommodate over
10,000 scans with
timestamps.
Once finished
scanning, the OPN
2001 has a standard
USB port which
allows easy data
transfer to a host
device. The USB port
is also used to
charge the internal
Lithium-Ion
rechargeable
battery.

For data transmission to a Bluetooth hosting device, choose
between SPP, and HID
profiles. The SPP
profile allows the
user to use a data
loading tool and

Bluetooth
transmission
settings. For direct
transmission without
using any tools, the
HID profile will fit
the immediate
wireless transfer
needs. In occasions
where Bluetooth is
not available, the
OPN 2001 has a
standard USB port.
This allows cabled
data transfer to any
USB device. The USB
port is also used to
charge the internal
Lithium-Ion
rechargeable
battery, or if you
prefer, an optional
10-bay cradle is
available.
