Software usability
The Trackaparcel Software is very simple to use.
We have put a lot of effort into making what is a complex system into something that anyone can use. Visually at a glance you can see for example the status of the shipment a status of your daily manifested items, overviews of complete route.
We use of drag and drop for dispatch with auto generating run sheets that can be changed to suit delivery times. At a glance you can see if drivers are loaded correctly or see if all manifested items are on route.
Multiple depots’ can now be run for one office with live online feed views of the dispatch area making companies more efficient.
Customers can view status of shipments and view live GPS tracking online and can see expected time of arrivals. For customers who may supply many other customers we have developed online dealer screens that can see their shipment status thus reducing telephone calls and shipment searches.
The booking system again has features that save time and updates the courier as the manifest builds up, this is so simple to use a child could do it.
It takes 5 minutes to train drivers to use the scanners, they have four options and they only have to use the right one at the right location for example if it goes into the vehicle or is delivered and how to deal with returns if needed.
